Law court

ABOUT

I am a firm believer that every person deserves their day in court and deserves to have an attorney who will fight for them.

I don't have to talk a good game about my courage to take a case the distance because I have the record to do the talking for me.

I am a lifelong resident of Washington County.  I was born here, raised here, and I love this area with all my heart.

I graduated from David Crockett High School in Jonesborough, then went on to East Tennessee State University on an academic scholarship. At ETSU, I received a Bachelor's of Business Administration with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Bachelor's of Science with a concentration in Advertising.  I minored in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

I graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2012 and received my license that same year. I decided to start my own practice in December 2012.  Since then, I have represented people on a wide variety of criminal matters and a growing number of civil matters.  I have handled everything from minor driving offenses all the way up to high level drug offenses and capital murder.

I am admitted to practice in the state of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. I am also certified to handle death penalty cases in Tennessee.
